Journal Writing & AR |
Journal Writing & AR Students will write in Journal using at least ____ signal words, spelling and/or vocabulary words in their journal then get out AR folder. Teacher submits roll and check for messages from home then work with small groups. Aide listen to individuals read before AR tests. | |||||||||

Signal Word review signal word from yesterday. Write definition on chart. Intro new signal word and write on the chart. Signal word is used throughout the day to signal class movements. | |||||||||

Math |
speed drill every one on their own level then daily math practice/review math skills (15 minutes) Friday 100 Math Facts each student at their own level. | |||||||||

Whole class lesson to teach the skill of the day then grades do their separate worksheets. (15 minutes) | ||||||||||

Friday spelling tests Teacher and aide listen to students for fluency in reading and high frequency words. | ||||||
